Loving the art of Indonesian Ikat/Lapis pattern, I found that the Ikat/Lapis art is actually everywhere and been the trend nowadays that called as the "Ikat" pattern. Ikat in Indonesian means "to tie". It's kinda interesting that our traditional art is a part of world's contemporary art!

So, my next posts are all about ikat!!! And dedicated to my home country, Indonesia.
